Josué Thomas is an artist and designer founded the Los Angeles-based Gallery Dept. His work is informed by his experience growing up in the South Bronx and his desire to create new opportunities for artists of color. In 2017, he launched the “Gallery Dept” t-shirt project to support artists struggling to pay their gallery bills.
